Established in 1954 as Mercy Hospital’s Foundation, Mercy Foundation became a congregational foundation in 1986. This designation expanded the Foundation’s role to support all programs of the Sisters of Mercy of Auburn in addition to their healthcare ministries. Our mission is to raise funds and community awareness for the works of the Sisters of Mercy of Auburn in the areas of healthcare, education, affordable housing, and care for the poor and the elderly in the greater Sacramento region.
